It's still there. Just tested it with google.com/maps in Chrome 86 on Linux. Steps to reproduce:
1. Enter Street View
2. Scroll out a few clicks Expected and observed behavior: the viewport switches to 3D-mode, with the view centered on the location and direction being observed in Street View. |
