If you would asked me a year ago, I would have thought webOS had no chance given its slow pace of development. Yet the rev one tablet offerings from Google and RIM are basically betas so HP has a good chance of catching up. Likewise in the phone segment, the third place slot is far from wrapped up. MeeGo was DOA and Windows Phone 7 isn't exactly lighting the sales charts on fire. Solid execution from HP over the next 6 months could really ignite the webOS platform. |
