So, you’re saying an open source developer shouldn’t take a job contributing to open source because the company historically has a reputation of not contributing? (In the language community, it is recognized that Amazon used to not contribute to Java at all and now is one of the major contributors. This probably hasn’t hurt in recruiting contributors for other languages.) |
