It's important to progress from impractical debate to practical technology, which needs to be proven. I think authoring tools for the proposed non-markup would be even more challenging than transpiling tools; tag-based markup (HTML, XML, even SGML), actual JavaScript, TypeScript and variants thereof and CSS are all much more text-editor friendly than this verbose JSON variation. |
