Your shelf is so expensive, normally, because of physical laber. While i agree that a hard drive cost can bottom out, i don't think we have bottomed out at the right price. Why would it make sense, at all, to produce a 300gb drive in 2020? It doesn't. Are they using machines which are not able to create better plates in 3,5" sizes? If yes, they probably ride those machines for a long time. Should be paid of by now 10x |
