While reading this discussion, I was thinking exactly the same thing. Normally I use /testing/ distribution of Debian GNU/Linux. But with Guix, I can just install bare-minimum Debian /stable/ and work with Guix for the rest. This way we'll also get security updates. Debian is committed to providing security updates for the /stable/ distribution. Not sure about /testing/ and /sid/. |
