Ask HN: What's your workflow for searching programming questions?

I Google programming questions a lot and would love to have something like:

A keyboard shortcut > Type a query > Have first result auto open into a terminal.

  - Cmd+Opt+s brings safari
  - Cmd+L or cmd+t
  - Type term
  - if it doesn’t show up, add !g
  - Cmd+tab goes back to whatever application I started at

I'd love something that is Keyboad shortcut + query then shows the first result

Not really. And it's a tab on my terminal/tmux session or on a browser.
