I hate these random 'anecdotes' because guess what; the mouse and scaling work on my Linux box out of the box too and I get to own my machine and not deal with Windows adware or Apple trying to scare me from running what I want and lock everything down.

But I guess not being able to launch any non-Apple app because Apple's servers are overloaded counts as zero hassle to you.
