As a French too it is well known here that FN votes have a 5% basis of hardcore far right, the rest is mostly a protest vote.

If I had a nickel for every patronizing rationale given for Trump's popularity, I would have enough nickels to fund that wall he wanted to build to keep the Mexicans from coming over and taking everyone's jobs.

I'm so glad that after 4 years of seeing this copy-paste, I can finally say this:

It's this kind of (anti-immigrant/xenophobic) attitude that got Trump voted out and Biden as our next President.
