SF used to be about 780k in 2010, before the pandemic, it was over 880k, so it is reverting back to 2010 levels... It is not alarming right now, but if the trend continues next year, it is going to be a major problem for the tax revenue. Raising taxes will not help in stoping the bleeding and make things worse... (SF is a city of renters, and they can easily leave) |
