Most people have no idea how to change preferences, so whatever is default might as well be the only option. This is why Google pays billions to be the default search engine, not even the forced/only option. It matters so little that it’s kind of odd that these sites don’t give the option, so at least they could use it in their arguments to show they have it. Probably only 0.01% of users would ever actually use it. |
