Apple themselves: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT210999 They are disallowing custom kernel extensions and instead requiring apps like Little Snitch to use their system API. This means that Apple has total control of how these apps function and what they can see. |

But where is the issue though? While you won’t be able to “own” your MacBook Air there are so many alternatives available such that crowding-out computers with open Bootloaders seems implausible.
