I released iTerm2 version 3.4.0 this morning with Big Sur support. Please update because 3.3 has various issues with it.

And if you love iTerm2 (especially if you use it for your work), I'd like to remind you that George has a Patreon https://www.patreon.com/gnachman
Thanks for the pointer and of course thanks to George for iTerm2! I just joined his patreon.
Is there a one-time donation alternative?
I just ran "Check for Updates" and it gave me this remarkable message: "iTerm2 3.1.7 is currently the newest version available. (You are currently running version 3.3.12.)"

Wat?

"Oh, I think I see what happened. Here's what's going on:

* I'm currently only making 3.4.0 available through software update for Big Sur users to slow the rollout in case there is a critical bug.

* I should not have removed 3.3.12 from the appcast file. That's why you're being told that 3.1.7 is the newest version. I've put it back.

If you want to upgrade to 3.4.0, you can download it from https://iterm2.com/downloads or else wait a few days until I push it out for everyone."

Exact same for me.
Same for me
Being so responsive to macOS updates adds value to an already superb and essential tool. I just donated and added to my things to support list.
What ? Who would ever think they need to update their app to support NEWER OS ? Or are newer generations completely oblivious to the fundamental concept of backward compatibility ?
Thanks. iTerm2 has probably stopped me from moving to Linux and an ordinary laptop so Apple should be giving you a bonus loyalty royalty.
Yeah iTerm2 and Alfred for me.
Your app helps me every day. Thank you for all your hard work
Thank you for the hard work and love put into iTerm2.
Oh man, iTerm2 is the main reason i could switch to mac os from linux. Thanks for the great work.
Thanks for a fantastic app that makes working on macOS a smooth experience.
iTerm2 is definitely the high bar for terminals! The new composer window is great, thanks!
Another grateful iTerm2 user. A better terminal there is not.
Thank you for your great work.
thank you for the work - love iTerm2
