They didn't, the air was never contested. The fighting happened within Azerbaijan's borders so air superiority was already assured. The only threat to the drones were SAMs that were incredibly ineffective. (Possibly due to age or crew inexperience) NK and Armenia are tiny and received little to no military aid. Is the future of warfare picking on poorly equipped enemies with high tech weapons? If so then we've been living in the future for the last few decades. |
