Right now? I have a neighbor in my apartment building whose door I literally must walk past in order to get to my apartment. That neighbor assaulted me, on video, and my landlord doesn't want to do anything about it, except... put up a surveillance camera.

Would it be crazy to talk to a lawyer? Most lawyers will talk to you for free, and you can see what your options are.

Already done that. We're considering suing the landlord. I'm working on a restraining order against the neighbor, as well.

That is terrible but what can a landlord legally do ? they can be sued by the other side.
