Somsone did turn this into a business idea - big pharma. Some devs take amphetamines to increase focus. There are physicians who will prescribe Adderall for you to do better at your job, although it's a bit of a grey area and you'll have to shop around to find one.

Yeah true, I try and avoid pharmaceuticals though. Even caffeine makes me really jittery and uncomfortable.

I try to avoid all that stuff too. I just wanted to bring it up since there's a portion of the coding population that use them.
