You have to. That's the only thing that will ever stop Apple doing this, if devs leave and users leave. Otherwise why would they care?

Apple wins before I can breath. If I don't say Android/IOs app, I'm off the market for a IOT B2B product. Would be a beautiful Harakiri but totally useless
