I wish Sketch was available for Windows or Linux. I don't think I'll buy a Mac ever again. More and more people are moving away from Apple altogether as the ecosystem has become an inescapable walled garden. I think ARM will become that last nail in the "walled garden" coffin.

No they aren't. Apple's market share for the Mac has been steady for a number of years now.

You shouldn't confuse a few vocal people whinging on HN/Reddit with what's happening in the real world.

I'm not saying the market share is decreasing, I'm saying that many people are moving away from Apple. This is purely anecdotal, but I don't remember any people I know moving away from Apple 10 years ago. I think the story is very different today in the pro user space.

I think this is the point. I understand you might not like the walled garden or find they don't have the products for you. But it is a continuing meme on this site that masses are abandoning the platform when the figures don't back that up.
