In reasonable jurisdictions, the lifetime of the product will be defined reasonably. The lifetime of a car will never be 3 months nor 3 years. For the average cheap-ish product, the lifetime is defined as "at least 2 years" in the EU, at least for consumers. If someone announces EOL too soon and the product is popular enough, someone will complain formally. This combination however rarely happens. |
