Not really tech related, but the most memorable for me is "Tense Present"[1] by David Foster Wallace in the April 2001 issue of Harper's Magazine. It's a beautiful exploration of language and dialect. It taught me at a young age to appreciate the way others speak and the socioeconomic implications of the way we listen to others.
