I settled on Noodler's Heart of Darkness (the onyx black that is also bulletproof) and Roller Eel (which is Heart of Darkness but lubricated for refillable rollerball use) for my black ink needs. Noodlers BP Black was more like Noodler's Bulletproof charcoaly gray for me. Shaking them before use is a habit I have, not sure if that helps or is just a placebo tho. |
