I find the title of this submission profoundly disturbing and unworthy of this platform. To me “Scientists believe...” implies a lot more than what this article describes.

Not that I have any dog in this hunt, but the title is actually "Scientist Believes...". Singular scientist.

I believe it was changed. I could be mistaken but I read it plural.
