The thing that killed any interest I ever had in Dark was the license[1]. It’s beyond vendor lock-in, it’s suicide at an undetermined date.

tldr: Help build it but don’t use it.

Dark is a proprietary product with source available for the runtime. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Source-available_software

AFAIK their eventual target market is the “οἱ πολλοί”.
