Actually, you do. Your rights as a citizen are in no way related to how or whether you vote. Freedom of speech does not hinge on your voting record. This line of thinking also erases the voices of disenfranchised voters, residents of Puerto Rico, prisoners, houseless people, etc. |

I believe some religious groups don't vote. Ahh, yes, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religious_rejection_of_politic... gives examples of people involved in politics but don't vote for religious reasons.
Even if the complaint is specifically directed towards those who can vote, but don't - is Australia, where everyone is required to vote, free of "preachy posts"?
I suspect not.
Note also that what touched the nerve is a posting from someone who hasn't said if he is or is not voting, not that he hasn't voted before nor won't vote again.
