Some time ago, I built this website because I was tired of quora asking me to sign up all the time, and then the idea came that I should make a website, where registration isn't a possibility (with exceptions). Pretty much anyone can ask and answer questions in there, and it is not strict on Tor/VPN users.

Some answers can get marked as answered by "Some know person", to attract people with a social profile to comment as well. This can only be done if they email me telling me which question they answered, and i'm still working on that feature. What do you guys think?

not to be condescending but isn't that the natural convergence point of all these apps assuming you're operating in a capitalist environment? so the way I see it, your app either will stay unpopular and without signups and aggressive user conversions, or it will get big, and become quora. die young or live long enough to be the villain as they say.

You're probably right, but the main thing I hated was that I couldn't even click on an answer while being on the site, without being asked to log in. That's a feature I won't add to my site. Sign ups may be required in the future, but they're only bad if the user gets forced to sign up, when the only thing they want to do is to read a question.
