Hey HN!

During the past few months, I've been the solo dev on a new app to help foster a remote team culture. Unicorn Train is a fun way for teammates to recognize and reward each other for doing great things. It currently integrates with Slack and GitHub, with many more integrates to come. It's built using Ruby on Rails on the backend, Tailwind on the frontend, and is hosted on Heroku.

Any and all feedback is welcome :)

Cheers!

The landing page is beautiful - it says you used shopify for this?

In terms of the product, I would feel uncomfortable using this in a job setting, but to support engagement in a less "traditional" work environment like an incubator slack channel would be really cool.

That's right, the marketing site and blog were built using a custom Shopify theme.

For sure, this app is geared more towards dev teams and startups instead of formal workplaces, where having fun on Slack is tolerated :D

I want to lick the landing page.

Jokes aside, I think the landing page is too pretty, and I can't focus on the content, I enjoy more just admiring it.

[x] Edible landing page :)
Who made the landing page, did you make it yourself or hired someone?
I put it together myself, but the custom illustrations were commissioned.
