Any article citing Sweden as a failure today indicates they haven’t done their homework. After a brief surge, that country is doing far better than much of Europe and didn’t sacrifice nearly so much of its economy and its peoples’ mental health to do so. That may not be repeatable due to cultural differences, though.

This article doesn’t match with reality. Pretty much none of the restrictions put in place here in Sweden have changed since they were put in place. Swedish authorities haven’t given any sign of wanting to adjust things other than letting the elderly ho outside more. Number of infections have gone up since most people came back from vacation, yet it hasn’t resulted in an increased death rate, see https://adamaltmejd.se/covid/
