Indeed. Competition is great though. Hopefully Jira/Clubhouse picks up and not suck.

I want someone to build a Linear quality level client for GitHub issues though. For me most of the issues I work on are on GitHub and GitHub web is way too slow to work with.

So true - that would be amazing to see if Jira/Clubhouse started to improve their products due to the new competition.

And totally feel ya there re: Github. We personally use Linear for tasks other than just product dev but totally understand the draw for wanting to combine version control with tasks.

It's amazing how helpful keyboard shortcuts and just raw performance is when you're using a tool as frequently as one does with PM.
