Seems unnecessarily harsh... like insulting someone begging for change on streets... Personally, I would never discourage contributions to Open-Source, no matter how trivial or if it was done with selfish intentions... But yes I do understand the backlash, this would be super annoying for maintainers. I wonder what Digital Ocean imagined would happen? |
