Flatpak is supposed to be the solution for installing proprietary app while staying safe. For open source software, less value for using flatpak apart from no need for package in multiple format for different distro. Appimage also solve the same problem. Now is flatpak secure for installing closed source app? At least not when they have full x11 access when using x11 desktop. |
