Reading that thread, my guess would be that a bug at IFTTT has caused it to hit the rate limit for each reddit account that it was associated with. A Reddit process has seen this activity spike and banned the accounts, thinking they're all part of one bot farm (same activity, same time frame, same ip range etc). It's pure speculation on my part, but it fits. |
