> In summary, an opportunist's career advice is: ignore OKRs, switch projects well before the consequences of your decisions can be measured, act happy and easy-going, package bad news as appeals for slow systemic adjustments, don't make anyone look bad, perform rituals with enthusiasm, grow headcount faster than baseline, let work invent itself, follow management fashions, avoid acute failures, believe this sincerely.

What is the source of this ridiculous anti-capitalist rant?

> Marx thought that to be fulfilled, humans must feel a connection to the end result of their work

Of course, the author is a marxist!

If you read my twitter (@spakhm) I'm about as anti-marxist, anti-woke, anti-oppressors vs oppressed as can be. (I do think Marx's writing is very interesting, but in a glass-of-wine-ponder-once-in-your-life kind of way, not in a lets-try-implementing-this-again kind of way). I grew up in a communist society, I definitely want marxism as a political force to be eradicated off the face of this earth.
