I can identify with the way she describes her day. Technology, news, social networks and notifications fill up too much of my day, without much or anything to show for it. It's easy to get lost in your phone. It feels like a drug. I almost can't watch a movie anymore without fiddling with my phone. In the end, as the end of the article suggests, it's all in our heads. We can set limits if we want, and your coworkers will adjust their expectations, if it's a healthy workplace, of course. |
