It's not just the terminal, it's the python interpreter, ipython notebooks, debugger, e.t.c. The terminal was what came to mind. Besides, when working in a remote dev project, the terminal automatically SSH's into the remote, and if local, it opens the working folder. It's practical to use the internal one sometimes. |
