This is blatant misinformation. The article you linked says Murdoch bought a 5% share seven years ago, and Murdoch isn't News Corp, and 5% is not a buyout. According to Wikipedia[0], today his share is so small they don't even list a percentile, and Soros (the Right's bogeyman, to counterbalance yours) owns 10%, with the actual majority stake split between larger, uncontroversial owners.
