If someone manages to get access to your smartphone photos, is that a security or privacy violation?

It doesn't really matter to the end user.

It's a tech news site, they should know better. The article is clearly about new privacy features in iOS 14 and doesn't cover any technical aspects of iOS 14's actual security. Calling it 'the most secure mobile OS ever' is just clickbait.
It depends on how he got access to it. By exploiting the OS, or because it didnt use the permission prompts correctly or it was misleading me.
