You’re correct that parametric is cool & FreeCAD adds that flexibility. One note about Sketchup is it encourages choosing standard sized items from the parts library. Choosing from the library (for example, choosing a standard 2x4 board or a standard door) means you’ll find real-world equivalents at Home Depot & avoid a lot of cost. |
