I haven't read the article yet but I just want to point out something that may be fairly important to understand here: chemotherapy drugs target cellular division. This means that if fasting slows down cellular division in normal cells but not cancer cells, it could make the chemotherapy drugs able to target the cancer cells more selectively than normal.
However, this would not necessarily translate into anything relating to situations in which chemotherapy drugs are not being taken. |
