This is my point why we need a better social safety net... we wouldn't have to ban 1000% loans if we made sure people were never desperate enough where that was their best option. If we instead simply ban 1000% interest, it doesn't mean those people suddenly have better options than they did before... if means they are forced to pick an even WORSE option. |
