The fact that so many people like yourself accept these moral failings as the new normal is honestly mind blowing.

Not sure what church and state had to do with this but... If you can’t leave the public sector for the private sector nobody would work for government. If you want the best and brightest you need to hire from the biggest companies because they can afford them. There has to be overlap and back and forth.
