It's probably not the office people dislike, it's the commute. If your office was next door to your house and all your colleagues were there you wouldn't go? You could come back for lunch and go back and forth as needed.

Definitely. Commute is hell to me. True privilege is to live at a walking-distance from where you work.

The office is 5-10 minutes away from my house, and the answer is no. Some people prefer to be alone.

But of course, commute makes it even worse.
