Whole opinion piece is one long mixed metaphor. The programming styles of Haskell and Rust couldn't be more different. Fails to even mention the generational differences in language design that have occurred since the 1990s. Haskell was inspired by Miranda, Rust has its influence from C++ and Standard ML languages. |
