The first use was Joseph Dejaque criticising Proudhon for not going far enough. Specifically he criticised Proudhons views on women. This first use was in the 1850's I believe. Left wing libertarianism predates the right wing use of the term by about a century. During that time it was very much a term that encompassed anarchists and some other socialists such as libertarian Marxists. |
