| Hi Hackers! I'm building a video editor for beginner youtubers, focused on insane speed of editing, and insane simplicity. A recent user asked me to add glitch effects. I've had this idea for a while, but I know it's kinda' hard to implement. So, without further ado: would you be interested in a random glitch generator? My idea is this: I'll have a wizard, and guide you on each step, towards the glitch effect you want (which will be random). Step 1: generate several glitch effects, with different rectangles where the glitch happens. You will select the ones that best match your scenario Step 2: generate different types of glitches - blur, directional blur, chromatic aberration, etc. Step 3: generate glitch effects in different locations of the screen (top-left/top-right/../center/etc) Step 4: generate different numbers of glitch rectangles (small number to large number). You, at each step, could select one effect, and click "Give me more" - which would generate more similar glitch effects, and move to the next step. This is work in progress (more like, an idea in progress :)), so your input is appreciated! |
