"policy violation" would probably be better language. but since one of the definitions (https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/guideline) of "guideline" is: > an indication or outline of policy or conduct imo "guideline violation" isn't too far of a stretch even if it is technically a "policy violation". |
