You're simply changing the meaning of the word then and also, I would suggest, debasing the complex experience of death by suggesting it is a singular, universal experience of 'personal tragedy'. Everyone loses loved ones and in many cases it is not experienced as tragedy but as death being a normal and essential part of life. |
