WebBundles would be great for distributing applications to users as a single, well, bundle.

Yes, especially you currently can't run .wasm based apps without a server on either Chrome or Firefox, but WebBundles will make this possible (I hope).

Also interesting that the combination of bundling and signing would seem to make the GPL relevant to the web in a far more toothful way.
