I'm actually always surprised how well AWS Chime [0] works. Probably because not too many people use it.

The only person I know who uses Chime works at AWS, and even they hate it.

Large parts of Amazon finally got the go-ahead to use Slack internally instead of Chime.

But at least they're dogfooding – the feature list is really short, but the quality is always good. I also wouldn't want to use it as my only conference tool, but if zoom is down, it makes a good backup.
