This culture was absolutely pervasive throughout Silicon Valley, likely since the first ground was broken for the first office park. I remember being taken to a strip club lunch by a field team, years before Zuckerberg graduated high school. In this regard, in 2012, Facebook was nothing special. In fact, there was probably less of that kind of bullshit than elsewhere.
