Thank you! You could do it based on geolocation perhaps. Or it could be a toggle in the preferences next to the option to use Monday as the start of the week. The thing I like about the app is the simplicity. I used to have a calendar like this when I was in elementary school. It was nice to quickly see what was due over the rest of the week.

Another option might be to display the date in a neutral way as “Aug 1”, with the name of the month. This eliminates the ambiguity in 10.08.

I like the simplicity of the app. It feels like paper. The risk with customizations is that they can add to complexity.
